The tread depth is 3", tread width is 5 1/4", the top of the shank is 2 1/2" across, and the height clearance is 5". THE STIRRUP HAS A FIVE-DEGREE CAMBER ON THE BOTTOM TO MAKE HEELS-DOWN A NATURAL POSITION!! The stirrup is built with the "Australian safety curve" on the side, to aid in the release of a caught boot. It is easy in, easy out! A slot in the top of the stirrup is designed for an English leather.
