The Down-N-Out stirrup perfectly positions the foot. The DOWN angle is 5 degrees, to keep the heel lowered in a position of natural balance (as in the extremely popular SAFETY STIRRUP series.) The OUT angles allows the foot to be parallel with the ground, thus removing ankle twist and foot fatigue. A safety curve on the side greatly reduces the possibility of a drag.
